This program includes everything professional editors need to cut blockbuster films, television shows, and commercials. It also lets you collaborate and bring people with different creative talents together. You get unlimited creative flexibility because DaVinci Resolve Studio allows individual artists to explore different toolsets. This program now has complete Fusion visual effects and motion graphics built in! The Fusion page gives you a complete 3D workspace with over 250 tools for compositing, vector painting, keying, rotoscoping, text animation, tracking, stabilization, particles, and more. Overview of Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio Benefits Place your bets on how long the manual for Resolve 16.5 / 17 will be in April.Free Download Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio for Windows PC is the world’s first solution that combines professional offline and online editing, color correction, audio post-production, and visual effects in one software tool. It's doable, but it'd take a lot of time. The advantage of an Index over a PDF search is that if you wanted to know (say) the effect of a LUT in ACES, you could go to the Index, look up ACES, then see if LUTs are mentioned somewhere in the subheads. I've campaigned before (unsuccessfully) for an Index with hypertext for Resolve, but it hasn't happened. I also completely agree with Walter that the problem with doing a general search for (say) LUT will kill you, because you'll never find the section you need. Looking at Walter's SoftImage manuals, it reminds me of Filmlight's approach to having three Baselight manuals: one for install/engineering/troubleshooting, one as an Operator's Guide with basically all the "how to's," and a Reference Guide that goes into every single knob, drop-down menu, control, and button in the software and on the panel. I'd also like to see QuickStart guides for each. Yeah, I've made the argument before that instead of one 3200-page manual, we need five much smaller manuals: Even though all of these features are integrated into one app, I'd wager that most dedicated colorists are not generally interested in the Fairlight page, and Fairlight editors prob don't care much about the Fusion page.
